Terms of Competition
By entering the 10.22.D Pitch Deck Competition ("Competition"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility

The Competition is open to all pre-seed and seed stage startup businesses across any industry.

Entrant must be a U.S.A. citizen.

Entrant must be 18 years or older to enter.
Entry Requirements

All entries must be submitted via the official submission form by August 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM EST. Late entries will not be considered.

Each entry must include a pitch deck. Incomplete or non-compliant entries will be disqualified.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Growth Level fee of $45 is nonrefundable. This fee covers a 1-page personalized feedback report on the submitted pitch deck. Personalized feedback reports will be emailed to the email address provided in the submission form no later than 3 weeks after purchase.

The Premium Level fee of $100 is nonrefundable. This fee covers a 30 minute video call with Devin Crudup. *Disclaimer* This session is for educational and feedback purposes only. Participation does not constitute an offer of investment, nor should it be interpreted as a formal pitch to Quilt Capital or any affiliated fund.
Judging Criteria

All entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Vision & Uniqueness, Market Potential, Business Model & Revenue Strategy, Funding Ask & Allocation, Team & Execution Plan, Traction & Validation, Presentation & Branding, and Overall Appeal.

Judges will award points for each criterion, and the entry with the highest score will win the Competition.
Grand Prize
-
Only one (1) grand prize will be awarded.

The winner (1) will receive $2,000 USD in startup funds, which will be paid via PayPal within 60 days of the announcement of the winner on August 4, 2025. The prize is intended to support the winner’s business growth.

The winner must provide valid identification and payment details to receive the grand prize.

Winners will be required to complete and submit a W-9 form (for U.S. residents) before the prize is disbursed.

Failure to submit the required tax documentation (W-9) will result in forfeiture of the prize.

The $2,000 prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other form of compensation.

The 10.22.D Agency reserves the right to modify the prize or payment method at any time.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the competition organizers to use their name, photo, and pitch for promotional purposes.
Ownership and Rights
-
All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the entrant.

By submitting your pitch deck, you retain full ownership of your business idea and all related intellectual property. However, by entering the Competition, you grant The 10.22.D Agency and its affiliates the right to use your name, company name, logo, and pitch deck for promotional purposes related to the Competition.

By submitting, you agree that your entries may be reviewed by the judging panel.

You agree to provide all necessary permissions to The 10.22.D Agency for such promotional use.
Confidentiality

While all submissions will be treated with care, The 10.22.D Agency cannot guarantee confidentiality. Participants are advised not to include any sensitive or proprietary information in their pitch decks.
Dispute Resolution
-
Any disputes related to the competition or prize disbursement will be resolved at the sole discretion of the competition organizers.
Cancellation or Changes
-
The competition organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or postpone the competition or prize disbursement due to unforeseen circumstances.
Winner Announcement
-
The winner will be announced on August 10, 2025, via email and on the The 10.22.D Agency website and 10.22.D’s social media.

The winner will be contacted directly via the email provided in their entry form.
Disqualification
-
The 10.22.D Agency reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the eligibility requirements or violates these Terms of Competition.

The competition reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have violated the rules, including but not limited to plagiarism, submission of false information, or unprofessional conduct.

Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, disrupt the Competition, or submit fraudulent information will result in disqualification.
Limitation of Liability

By entering the Competition, the entrants, and winner, agree to release and hold harmless The 10.22.D Agency, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance/use of the prize.

There is no guarantee of any future success or funding beyond the Competition prize. Participation does not guarantee that your business will receive additional investments, partnerships, or other financial success.
General Terms

The 10.22.D Agency reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition at any time, in its sole discretion.

These Terms of Competition are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The 10.22.D Agency operates.

By submitting an entry, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Competition.
